The Phantom was a hit. This is a california blend with Petite Syrah, Old Vine Zinfandel, and Old Vine Mouvedre. The dark garnet color, medium legs and smoked spice nose make this an excellent fall wine. This is definately a wine to enjoy with food and, now, as the weather is turning colder here in the Northwest it was a welcome full bodied wine. Our featured entree for Saturday nite was Pot Roast Stew. The Phantom and the stew together were an enjoyable treat in this season of trick-or-treating.
